SMS Staffing is Hiring Immediately for a Tote/Tank Washer in the Kenosha, WI area!

JOB TITLE: Tote/Tank Washer
JOB LOCATION: Pleasant Prairie, WI
JOB TYPE: Temp to Hire
PAY: $16.50+ per hour

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Monday – Friday)

Responsibilities and Duties of the Tote/Tank Washer:

● Clean, wash, and dry tankers, hoses, equipment, and totes using a power washing system
● Drain equipment into designated chemical waste drums
● Visually inspect, manually clean, and pressure test totes as required
● Unload empty drums, sort, and reload dirty drums onto conditioner trailers
● Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation
● Perform manual handling and movement of drums using hand carts
● Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
● Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
● Wear required PPE including goggles, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, face shield, hard hat, and respirator as needed
● Maintain inventory of empty drums for waste stream use
