Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. - $24.00/hr. DOE
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
Position Summary
The Compounder is responsible for manufacturing chemical products by accurately blending raw materials according to production batch sheets. This position operates forklifts and a variety of mixing equipment while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.

Position Summary
The Compounder is responsible for manufacturing chemical products by accurately blending raw materials according to production batch sheets. This position operates forklifts and a variety of mixing equipment while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Compounder Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to safely move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Label and fill drums, tote tanks, and tank trucks for production, storage, and shipment.
- Manufacture complex chemical blends using liquids, powders, dyes, and waxes according to production formulas.
- Operate a variety of pumps, mixers, and heated and non-heated mixing tanks.
- Read and accurately interpret manufacturing batch sheets and production specifications.
- Complete manufacturing paperwork, batch records, and production checklists.
- Notify Quality Assurance or the Production Manager of any suspect materials.
- Stop unsafe activities and recommend corrective or preventive actions when necessary.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties and production activities as assigned.
- Comply with food safety responsibilities when applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous chemical batching, blending, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately follow batch sheets and production instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
