Shipping & Receiving Specialist

About the Shipping Specialist Role:

Are you a detail-oriented shipping pro with a solid understanding of Federal regulations (DOT compliance)? We’re looking for a skilled Shipping Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates effectively across all levels.

Job Duties:
● Responsible for UPS/FedEx small package shipments and deliveries
● Assist with SDS database
● Lend support to Regulatory Projects and Security
● Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimum supervision
● Properly segregate, label, transport, store, record, and inspect hazardous and non-hazardous materials
 

Qualification Requirements:
● High School diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 1-2 years industry experience
● Basic math, writing, and reading skills
● Computer skills such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are desirable
● Forklift experience, preferred.
 

Special Circumstances of the Job:
● Position involves safety-sensitive functions
● May require overtime
● May involve heavy lifting and climbing
● Must be able to wear safety equipment (e.g., respirators, gloves, acid suit, goggles, steel-toe work boots)
● May be required to work outdoors
