JOB TITLE:  Production Control Planner

JOB LOCATION: Waukegan, IL

JOB TYPE: Temp to Hire

PAY: $22 - $32.50/hr based on experience

1st SHIFT: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

Job Duties of a Production Control Planner:
● Review Customer Order report for assigned product line.
● Create Work Orders and acknowledge dates
● Analyze and perform transactions (if necessary) to make corrections to work orders, receiving records and inventory.
● Analyze work center’s capacity
● Create purchase orders for parts that require plating
● Attend Production Control meetings and communicate concerns encountered.
● Review Customer Order Pack Slips and Receiving records then assign information i.e. locations and work order
● Review Engineer Change Notices and then take action if necessary

Qualification Requirements:
● Must have high school diploma or equivalent
● Must have production planning, scheduling, and inventory control experience.
● Ability to work and communicate with all levels of personnel and in a team environment.
● Knowledge of MRP and CRP
● APICS training/certification a plus.
● Requires ability to use calculator, computer, telephone, and copy equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
● Supply Chain experience
● Experience with ERP system preferably ProfitKey
